California Child Psychologist to be Sentenced in Plea Deal

A Orinda, California child psychologist who continued to email himself links to child porn after being charged with possessing similar disturbing images, will be sentenced in a plea deal next month, records show.  

Kenneth Breslin, 69, posted bail and was released from custody after being charged with possessing thousands of child porn images last year. While awaiting resolution in his case, he disobeyed a court order that he not access the internet, and obscured his browsing history by routing it through a foreign server, investigators found.

At the time, U.S. District Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley called it “the most flagrant” violation she’d ever seen in a pending child porn case, but allowed Breslin to remain out of custody for almost two weeks, saying he had a disease and couldn’t control himself.
