Board places psychiatrist Harry Taub on probation over drug charges

On July 22, 2013, the Colorado Medical Board placed the license of psychiatrist Harry E. Taub on probation for five years.
The Board’s document states that, among other things, Taub was charged in July 2003 in North Carolina with one felony count of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud/forgery.
He entered into a deferral agreement and was placed on probation.
In August 2008, Taub was charged again in North Carolina with two counts of obtaining controlled substances by fraud/forgery and was placed on supervised probation.
He subsequently surrendered is controlled substance prescription privileges to the DEA.
