Board cites misconduct in denial of counselor's application

On September 5, 2013, the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners denied the application of associate counselor applicant Abilash Pulicken for unprofessional conduct. The Board’s document specifically mentions that Pulicken was terminated from employment “because of misconduct involving a lack of boundaries with the client, unethical behavior, a breach of confidentiality, HIPAA violation and unprofessionalism.”
