10+ Female Patients Report that Psychiatrist Lazaro Pomeraniec Touched Them Inappropriately

FAIRFIELD — More than 10 women have told police that a local psychiatrist hugged or touched them inappropriately while they were at his office as patients, according to an arrest warrant charging the doctor, Lazaro Pomeraniec, with sexual assault.

However, most of the victims either didn't want to press charges or the statute of limitations for the alleged crimes had expired, according to the warrant, written by Fairfield police Detective Beth Leetch. Other complaints against the doctor are still being investigated, according to police.
