Washington mental health counselor loses license following rape conviction

In December 2007 the Washington State Department of Health revoked the credential of mental health counselor Preston L. Carbary. Carbary was convicted on three counts of second-degree rape involving a client while he was a mental health counselor for the state Child Protective Services agency. He was sentenced June 26, 2007 to 16 years in prison.1
