Army Psychiatrist Christopher Warner Committed Adultery, Will Retire From Military

On March 20, 2023, the U.S. Department of Defense-authorized news outlet Stars and Stripes reported that Colonel Christopher Warner, an Army psychiatrist, would retire from the military, effective May 31st. Warner was removed from his position as commander of Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (near Tacoma, WA) in October 2020 after a former nanny contacted Army investigators with allegations that Warner had raped her 14 years prior, while she lived and worked in the Warner home. The Army panel that reviewed the allegations concluded that Warner had committed adultery but was unable to find enough evidence that he’d committed sexual assault.
