Missouri Psychiatrist Vivek Agnihotri Convicted of Domestic Assault

On November 22, 2021, the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts ordered that Creve Coeur psychiatrist Vivek Agnihotri be placed on probation for one year after he was convicted of a misdemeanor offense.  

On May 25, 2018, Agnihotri pleaded guilty to assault in the third degree, and was fined $500. The conviction was predicated on a domestic dispute in his home which occurred on or about July 4, 2016, during which he allegedly attempted to cause personal injury to his spouse.

Dr. Agnihotri entered his guilty plea in the Circuit Court of St. Louis County, Missouri, in case number 16SL-CR04889-01. The offense of Assault in the Third Degree is a misdemeanor offense, an act of violence, and an offense involving moral turpitude.
