New Jersey Revokes License of Psychiatrist Pritpaul Singh for Sex, Drug Violations

On April 27, 2021, the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners permanently revoked the license of Hackettstown, New Jersey psychiatrist Pritpaul Singh. 

The Board's document states that Dr. Singh crossed professional boundaries by engaging in sexual activity with a current female patient over a number of months. He also violated standards for the prescribing of controlled dangerous substances to seven patients; failed to adequately justify the need for prescriptions; failed to utilize the Prescription Monitoring Program; failed to conduct random urine screens, and failed to monitor compliance with treatment.
