New Orleans Psychiatrist Jonathan Chandler Reprimanded for Fraud

October 14, 2021

On February 22, 2021, the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners reprimanded New Orleans medical psychologist Jonathan N. Chandler (formerly known as Jennifer Chandler).

The Board’s investigation revealed that during Dr. Chandler’s application process to obtain an Advanced Practice Certificate, he fraudulently submitted Collaborating Physician Recommendation forms that had signatures of attesting physicians that did not know they were signing said forms.

Chandler acknowledged that the Board's proof could support action against his license violating state law regarding "Fraud, deceit, or perjury in obtaining a diploma or certificate," "Making any fraudulent or untrue statement to the Board," and unprofessional conduct.

The Board additionally fined Chandler $1,000
