Former high school psychologist placed on probation for possessing marijuana with intent to distribute

On April 24, 2017, Shelly J. Moore, a former high school psychologist in Wichita, Kansas, was placed on three years of Community Corrections-supervised probation.  A jury had previously found her guilty of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute and no drug tax stamp (felonies) and possession of drug paraphernalia (a misdemeanor) for a marijuana pipe in her car.  She was also ordered to pay $1,273 in fees and costs, perform 40 hours of community service and be evaluated for drug and alcohol addiction.
