Cambridge psychiatrist accused of professional misconduct

July 10, 2017

A Cambridge psychiatrist, Dr. Christopher Doyle, is once again facing allegations of professional misconduct.  The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario will hold a hearing regarding these allegations, although the date of the hearing has not yet been set.

In 2009, he was disciplined the by the college for professional misconduct after he had a romantic relationship with a former patient, very shortly after ending the doctor-patient relationship.  At that time, his license was suspended for six months to a year and various other terms were imposed.
