State revokes permit of supervisee who misrepresented self as psychologist

January 8, 2014

On November 20, 2013, the New Jersey Board of Psychological Examiners revoked the permit of Robyn Koslowitz.

The Board’s document states that Koslowitz, who is a permit holder practicing under the supervision of a New Jersey licensed psychologist, failed to identify herself as such but rather represented herself as a psychologist and advertised herself as clinical psychologist and a school psychologist.

She also submitted an affidavit to a court wherein she referred to herself as a licensed psychologist and in which she made a custody recommendation—which a permit holder is not permitted to do.
