Psychiatrist Kevin George charged with prescription violation

On or about July 11, 2013, Albany, New York psychiatrist Kevin George was charged with possession of forged prescriptions, which he is reported to have been using to illegally obtain Xanax and morphine. George was additionally arrested last year in a separate case involving allegations of improperly touching female employees. Those charges are pending. In 2011, the state suspended his license for 36 months for negligence. The suspension was stayed and he was fined $20,000.
