Psychiatrist Carlo Carandang disciplined for soliciting underage sex trade worker

July 18, 2013

On February 21, 2013, the Washington Department of Health placed psychiatrist Carlo Carandang on probation.

This was in regard to disciplinary action taken upon Carandang by the College of Physicians and Surgeon of Nova Scotia (where Carandag resides).

On October 19, 2012, the College issued Carandang a Notice of Reprimand for, among other things, soliciting sexual services from an underage sex trade worker when his practice involved the same age of client as the sex trade worker and for causing interference with his practice due to his relationship with the sex trade worker, including being late for work and texting her while seeing patients.
