New York places social worker Stephen Schoenbrot on probation

On April 5, 2011, the New York State Office of the Professions placed clinical social worker Stephen Schoenbrot on probation for two years. Schoenbrot admitted to having engaged in inappropriate self-disclosure with a psychotherapy patient of his, including the discussion of his own real estate venture, and of engaging in a dual relationship with the patient by offering to sell, and ultimately selling to the patient, some real property which he owned.
