State suspends license of psychiatrist Allison Hargrave, charged with federal sex crime

Dr. Allison Hargrave, a psychiatrist accused of a federal sex crime, has had her license suspended, according to the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners' website.


Her license was suspended on June 6, "pending administrative action."

 

Hargrave was indicted on May 26 for enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity.

 

She was arrested at the Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattisburg on June 2, where she was receiving treatment for a sexual disorder, major recurrent depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.

 

Her court date is set for August.
