Connecticut summarily suspends psychiatrist Jeremy August

On May 15, 2007 the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health (“State”) summarily suspended psychiatrist Jeremy August’s license to practice. Dr. August was charged by State in April 2006 with multiple boundary violations for engaging in real estate sales transactions with a patient to whom he was delivering psychiatric services. He bought the patient’s house and sold the patient his house. 1
