New Jersey Medical Board Revokes License of Psychiatrist Nimer Iskandarani

On November 4, 2021, the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners ordered the license of Cedar Grove psychiatrist Nimer Iskandarani be permanently revoked. 

Iskandarani was found to have been prescribing medications, such as benzodiazepines, to patients without appropriate examinations and/or failing to keep proper documentation. 

He agreed to retire his medical license with such retirement to be deemed a permanent revocation.
