Psychiatrist Gary Kushner gives up license following sentencing

On March 25, 2013, psychiatrist Gary Kushner voluntarily relinquished his medical license to the Florida Department of Health. This follows Kushner’s August 2012 conviction for his involvement in a scheme which defrauded Medicare of $50 million. He was sentenced March 15, 2013 to 144 months in prison.
