State reprimands psychiatrist Amnon Kahane for standard of care failures

On February 7, 2013, the Arizona Medical Board reprimanded psychiatrist Amnon I. Kahane, based on a complaint it received regarding Kahane’s care and treatment of a 26-year-old male patient, alleging failure to provide proper oversight and management of the patient’s prescriptions. The Board cited eight specific ways that Kahane deviated from standard of care in his treatment of the patient.
