Board denies application of social worker Kimberly Rezarch

December 23, 2011

On May 3, 2011, the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) denied the application of licensed clinical social worker applicant Kimberly Rezarch. According to AZBBHE documents, Rezarch forged a supervisor’s signature on documents in support of her licensure application though she failed to meet minimum licensure standards.

Ms. Rezarch subsequently went to Fairfield, Iowa, and became a "CGTC" - certified gambling addiction treatment specialist.
She then had her license revoked for ethics violations, in Iowa, during Sep- Dec 2011. See link: http://www.iowabc.org/newsletters/Sep-Dec11.pdf

Ms. rezarch is now presenting herself as a "Trauma Specialist" ( no license, but pretending she is a social worker in the State of Iowa, she is not. ) Her theory is that there is no such thing as a mental illness psychiatric diagnosis...only response to trauma, period.

This woman has misled and misdiagnosed my son...saw him one time, "diagnosed" him with dissociative identity disorder, which he does NOT have, and advised him to stop speaking to his parents right away. That was two years ago. My son is in college and we were supporting him. She contacted me and told me she had "twenty years' clinical experience", which she does not. She lost her license after only a few months, in the state of Iowa, due to ethics violations. http://www.iowabc.org/nesletters/Sep-Dec11.pdf

My license was denied because I left AZ, not because I could not be licensed in the state. I made a mistake, which I took full responsibility for. After I challenged the AZBHE for their unethical behavior it became a witch hunt against me. I absolutely met minimum licensure requirements and held 3 different licenses in the state I was moving from. After the horrible ordeal of trying to advocate for myself, I decided to leave the state. I would never want to be licensed in a state where people with their own agenda decides the fate of people and their careers. I then joined a class action suit against AZBHE, along with 250 other people who had their license denied after false accusations. Please, don't base your opinions on what you read on the internet, with only a portion of the story.
