A Lee County (South Carolina) school psychologist has been placed on leave after she was arrested on two charges last month.

Florence police arrested 33-year-old Misty Watford of Florence on July 12 and charged her with soliciting prostitution. Police say she was advertising as an escort on a website and responded to an undercover officer's call.

She was arrested July 30 in Florence and charged with drunken driving.

Lee County School District human resources director Jeff Long says officials learned of the charges earlier this month and placed Watford on administrative leave.

She had worked as an elementary school psychologist in the district since 2008.

It was unclear if she has an attorney.
