December 2007 Washington mental health counselor loses license following rape conviction |

In December 2007 the Washington State Department of Health revoked the credential of mental health counselor Preston L. Carbary. Carbary was convicted on three counts of second-degree rape involving a client while he was a mental health counselor for the state Child Protective Services agency. He was sentenced June 26, 2007 to 16 years in prison.1 1 Order of the Washington State Department of Health, December 2007. |
