On April 24, 2007, the Pennsylvania Department of State Board of Psychology accepted the voluntary and permanent surrender of Marcye Shayer’s license because she violated the statute which prohibits a psychologist from engaging in a dual relationship with a patient and she engaged in immoral or unprofessional conduct.¹
