On January 30, 2007, licensed professional counselor Scott Anthony Gilbertson surrendered his license to the Professional Counselor section of the Wisconsin Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling and Social Work Examining Board. This action was a result of an October 2006 criminal conviction for sexual assault and disorderly conduct involving a client to whom Mr. Gilbertson had been providing vocational rehabilitation services following the client's loss of sight.¹
